Day 2 of the Go Ye Burundi Mission was marked by both solemn reflection and joyful fellowship. Our team attended a funeral service, standing alongside the local community in a time of mourning and hope.
We also had the privilege of meeting with bishops and pastors who are joining the movement together with their congregations. This partnership reflects the promise of Jeremiah 3:15: “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
Strengthening the Mission
The Go Ye Mission International continues to:
- Care for orphans and vulnerable children through food, clothing, shelter, and education.
- Train ministers to be equipped and licensed for effective service.
- Support local congregations by helping pastors establish strong churches.
Building Local Churches
A key initiative is assisting ministers in constructing durable church buildings that serve as centers of worship and community. Each structure provides a safe space for fellowship and discipleship, ensuring that the Gospel continues to flourish.

Closing Thought
Day 2 in Burundi reminds us that the Gospel advances both in times of sorrow and in moments of growth. As pastors and congregations join hands with the mission, we see the Kingdom of God moving forward with strength and unity.
Together, we can build hope, nurture faith, and transform communities in Jesus’ name.
