Go Ye Mission – Day 2 in DRC: Advancing the Gospel with Bishop Musini Kiragi

Day 2 of the Go Ye Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) was marked by powerful fellowship and strategic ministry engagement. Our team joined hands with Bishop Musini Kiragi, a respected leader in the region, as we continue to strengthen the movement of discipleship and missions across Africa.

A Conference of Purpose

Hosted by the Union des Eglises Chrétiennes au Congo (UEC) and the Communauté des Eglises Evangélique Réformées du Congo (CEERC), the conference theme was drawn from 2 Timothy 2:2 — “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

The message, “Un, Deux, Trois, je Le connais peut-être” (“One, Two, Three, I may know Him”), emphasized the urgency of knowing Christ and sending missionaries through a movement of discipleship.

Teaching and Preaching the Word

Bishop Michael Orieny from Kenya and Bishop Musini Kiragi from DRC led sessions that stirred hearts and challenged leaders to rise in faith. The conference, held at Église El-Shadai in Kabindula, Avenue Maombi, brought together pastors, ministers, and believers committed to spreading the Gospel.

Strengthening the Mission

The Go Ye Mission International continues to:

  • Train and license ministers for effective service.
  • Support local churches in building 40ft by 26ft metal structures for worship and discipleship.
  • Care for orphans and vulnerable children through shelter, food, clothing, and education.
